The ALA's annual Best Books for Young Adults list is for young adult books published in the last 16 months that have proven appeal to young adult readers. The list has both fiction and nonfiction books.
In addition to the full list, the ALA also publishes a yearly Top Ten list. This year's top ten books are listed below.
