ABC Award
Krisle Elementary has implemented a program of recognition called the ABC Award which stands for Attitude – Behavior – Citizenship. Each month, 2 – 3 students per class K-5 are selected by teachers based on outstanding attitudes, behaviors, or citizenship that are displayed during the month. At the end of each month these students are recognized in a special program held at the school. Parents and grandparents are invited to attend the program where each student is spotlighted by having a list of the specific student accomplishments is read aloud to the audience. There are 2 programs, one for grades K – 2 and one for grades 3 – 4.
Principal Suzan Brown has stated that these programs are very well attended and appreciated and it also gives her an opportunity to build relationships with the parents and build a sense of community with stakeholders.
Keep up the great work Krisle!
