A Message from our assistant administrator...

Mrs. Robyn Southard

Dear Krisle Family,

My name is Robyn Southard and I am the new "part-time" assistant principal at Krisle Elementary School.  I am also a part-time assistant principal at Watauga Elementary.  I have been teaching in Robertson County for 14 years, 13 of which I spent teaching at Greenbrier Elementary.  I transferred to Watauga last year.  My philosophy of education stems not only from my experience in the classroom, but my experience as a mom.  I believe that every child can learn no matter what the challenge and that being fair doesn't mean giving everyone the same thing.  I believe it means giving each student what "they" need.  My own children have many different needs in their learning styles. The most challenging job we face as educators is discovering the key that unlocks each little mind.  It is my honor to be a part of the challenge at Krisle Elementary.

About my family:

My husband and I reside in Goodlettsville and we are a very busy, large, "blended" family.  Together we have 5 children and 2 wonderful granddaughters.  We attend Long Hollow Baptist in Hendersonville.
