     Hello, and welcome to a new school year.  I am excited to introduce our new students to the library. Your child will be visiting the library two to three time a week depending on their teacher's schedule.  Please read and sign the permission form in the registration package, if you want your child to check-out books this year. You will be agreeing to pay for any books that a lost or damaged beyond repair by your child.
      During the first month ,each child will learned how to take care of a book, the parts of a book, and how to check out a book. I will give each parent a brochure that explains library rules and book care rules during open house. 
     Check-out and check-in will be every Monday and Tuesday starting September 22. 
Your child must bring back a book each week to check out another.  Please help your child be responsible for the book he/she checks out. 

Our reading incentive program "BRANSFORD READERS" will began on the first day of school.  
 The purpose of this reading program is to help our students get a good start in reading. 
The goal is to read 100 books by the end of the school year. I will provide a form for you Keep a list of the titles of the books read to your child. Prizes will be given for 30, 60 and 100 book read.
The love of books will be a major key to your child's educational future.
